Previously, Gordon led the transformation of Drug Royalty Corporation into DRI Capital, growing it into a $5B global leader in healthcare IP investment. His expertise lies in building capital-efficient, high-impact ventures that turn infrastructure into scalable, revenue-generating assets.
Today, through QGEMS, an AI-driven Distributed Energy Operating System, he is unlocking profitable, ESG-aligned returns by orchestrating clean energy assets for commercial real estate, institutions, infrastructure, and public sector clients. Lynn Benway is a dynamic operational strategist and growth advisor with a proven track record in scaling companies, driving acquisitions, and optimizing organizational performance. As Director of Operations at QGEMS, she brings decades of experience in enterprise transformation, M&A integration, and client success across both the private and nonprofit sectors.
Lynn previously served as CEO of Emergies, LLC, where she built a nationwide reseller network of 400+ partners to distribute cutting-edge data security technologies. She has advised Fortune 500 firms including Boeing, Motorola, State Farm, and NRG Energy on complex data and communications solutions, and played a pivotal role in enterprise rollouts for governance and risk management frameworks.
Her background spans senior leadership roles at LexisNexis and RLI Corp., as well as COO of WaterStreet Solutions, where she helped grow the company’s revenues by 2000%. Today, Lynn continues to advise on strategic acquisitions through Chirino Investment Group and mentors leaders through organizations such as The Prompting and Timeless Women of Africa (TILE) in Kenya.

He leads integrated communications that align thought leadership, sales enablement, and messaging across the energy ecosystem.
His senior roles in global sales & marketing, operations, oversight, and product management across financial services, fintech, and sustainability bring a deep understanding of how to position complex, technical offerings for maximum stakeholder resonance whether engaging institutional investors, partners, operators, policymakers, or asset managers.
Previously, Gary advised early-stage ventures and Fortune 500s on conversational marketing, social media rollouts, brand transformations, capital raises, and helped secure over $100M in startup funding. At Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank, and Citibank, he managed global client relationships and led messaging across multimillion-dollar relationships and new business initiatives. Patrick Santos brings a rare blend of deep technical expertise and seasoned legal acumen to the Director of IP and General Counsel role at QGEMS. Pat is the founder and Managing Partner of Han Santos, PLLC, and leads a team of attorney-engineers specializing in intellectual property strategy, technology law, and corporate counsel for innovative companies.
Before entering law, Patrick spent over a decade as a software engineer, including seven years at Microsoft, contributing to flagship projects such as Visual C++, Xbox, and Windows XP. His has co-inventor credit on multiple U.S. patents, reinforcing his unique ability to bridge the gap between engineering and IP protection. Pat’s legal career has included time as a U.S. Patent Examiner focused on cryptography and distributed systems, as well as senior roles in global law firms where he led IP counseling initiatives. He has taught C/C++ at both the University of Washington and Bellevue College and currently serves as seconded IP counsel to major technology corporations in the Seattle area.
Driven by a belief that effective IP strategy requires real-world technical fluency, Pat champions a hands-on, business-aligned approach to legal counsel that protects innovation while advancing strategic growth.
Mark is a strategic technology leader and accomplished architect of secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions. With over two decades of experience across military systems, enterprise SaaS, and mission-critical infrastructure, Mark brings a rare blend of hands-on development expertise and executive leadership to QGEMS’ technology platform.
A Chartered IT Professional and Certified Scrum Master, Mark has led high-performance Agile teams across the UK and US, delivering award-winning digital transformations. His early career began with encryption systems used by NATO and the U.S. military, followed by leadership roles in foodtech, pharma, and industrial IoT, where he modernized legacy systems into modern cloud and SaaS architectures. At Sage, the UK’s largest accountancy software provider, Mark spearheaded the “World Class Development” initiative across international divisions, driving the transition to cloud-native products. He later led security platform development at a NASDAQ-listed company, achieving zero vulnerabilities across multiple independent penetration tests.
Mark’s recent work includes patented encryption, zero-knowledge protocols, EV charging systems, and AI-based forecasting for energy and temperature optimization. Mark is also passionate about digital inclusion, leading the IT transformation of a remote care center for severely disabled children and sharing his expertise through guest lectures at UK universities.

Previously, as VP of Software & Telematics at Ideanomics, Nigel secured strategic funding from Google and scaled groundbreaking mobility and energy platforms. As Co-Founder of CyVolve, he launched CyOS™, a quantum-proof encryption and AI analytics platform for secure enterprise data, adopted across healthcare, finance, and government. Earlier, he scaled BioStore’s biometric and payments platform to over 3 million daily users and co-founded Tradeworks, a market intelligence firm backed by leading financial institutions.
